The purpose of this series is to increase understanding among Ohioans about mental health, and drug and alcohol addiction. This series is intended to serve as a quick and easy reference tool to educate lawmakers, county commissioners, voters and others about behavioral health related issues. It is premised on the belief that when armed with good information, the vast majority of those in a position to effect change will make decisions that are in the best interest of individuals in need.
